Preparation

  1. In a bowl, mix the honey with the mustard, garlic, herbs, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the salmon fillets for 3 to 4 minutes on each side.
  3. Pour the honey and mustard mixture into the saucepan. Bring to a boil over low heat and continue cooking for 1 to 2 minutes.

Note: You can serve this dish with asparagus or basmati rice. Green beans cooked in butter are also a good side dish option.

  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) honey
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) Dijon mustard
  • 10 ml (2 teaspoons) minced garlic
  • 45 ml (3 tablespoons) chopped fresh parsley
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) chopped fresh chives
  • 1 lemon (zest and juice)
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) olive oil
  • 4 salmon fillets, 150 g (1/3 lb) each
