Chef Dominic Tremblay is passionate about gastronomy and BBQ, and his cooking is guided by instinct, precision, and emotion. For over 25 years, he has been developing his art with a self-taught, curious, and resolutely modern approach.

For him, cooking is not just a skill—it's an experience to be enjoyed.

A remarkable media career

Dominic appeared three times in the final auditions for MasterChef Canada, reaching the Top 30 in Quebec each time. More than 400 people tasted his creations during his preparations for the auditions.

He also made his mark on the Quebec culinary scene:

A cuisine nourished by the world

As an avid traveler, Dominic explores each destination through its cuisine. He talks with local chefs, discovers typical products, and completes numerous internships in French cuisine, contemporary bistro cooking, and innovative gastronomy.

He held the position of Executive Chef at the restaurant. Le French Touch on an island in Belize, in the Caribbean, where the establishment was ranked #1 on TripAdvisor among 178 restaurants.

A plan to open one's own restaurant, Le D Bistro, in the Caribbean, was under development before the pandemic came along and redefined priorities.

Private chef & private experiences

Since 2015, Dominic has been developing a specialized catering service in the Quebec City region, offering a different take on healthy prepared meals: more refined, more flavorful, more daring.

He also:

  • Took control of 3 restaurants as guest chef
  • Hosted hundreds of private gourmet dinners
  • Taught specialized cooking classes (particularly in sous-vide cooking)
  • Private chef available upon request.

In 2024, he obtained a certificate with honors as a chef, formalizing a career of excellence built on experience and discipline.
